Why choose Dynamica Trawl Warps?
To reduce fuel consumption, increase vessel stability and attain more catch.
Dynamica Trawl Warps combine Dynamica SK78 rope, overbraided Dynamica PRO cover and double shield coating (DSC), thereby you gain:
Greater abrasion protection
Safer handling; in case of rupture there is no backlash
Lower friction when used over winch drums
Approx. 3 times longer service life than traditional steel warps
What is the breaking strength & weight of Dynamica Trawl Warps?
Dynamica Trawl Warps are as strong as steel while being up to 10 times lighter, meaning you get:
Decreased fuel consumption by approx. 10 %
Improved vessel stability when the trawls are placed in high positions
No maintenance unlike steel wire warps (lubrication, rust ect.)
Opening of the trawl is more consistent during fishing and turning
With synthetic warps, the trawl is easier to tow and the trawl doors can be downsized
Overall cost-savings

What is the elongation of Dynamica Trawl Warps?
Dynamica Trawl Warps have 3-4 % elongation at break, similar to steel warps.
However, our synthetic warps are a safer alternative; in case of rupture, the low mass and elongation results in the energy being distributed along the rope’s entire length in a linear way with a no recoil. Meanwhile, the cover prevents the rope from lashing out, unlike steel warps which are known for lashing out endangering riggers and equipment.
Is Dynamica Trawl Warps rotation free?
Yes, Dynamica Trawl Warps have a torque-neutral construction meaning that “snaking”, bird caging and kinking is not an issue unlike with steel warps.
Do & don’t
Do not use the Trawl Warps over sharp edges or rusty surfaces as this can lead to cuts, abrasion abuse and splice damages.
To attain long service life and protect the riggers, ensure all surfaces are in proper condition.
How to cover & protect the Trawl Warps?
Want longer service life? Protect your rope with a cover!
Dynamica Trawl Warps are overbraided with Dynamica PRO cover ensuring greater abrasion resistance and longer service life.

What to look for while inspecting the Trawl Warps?
Regular inspections ensure a longer service life and keep the costs of ownership down. Inspect your Dynamica Trawl Warps before every operation look for signs of:
Rope construction damage
Cover damage
Abrasion
Inconsistent diameter
