Why choose Dynamica FORTUNA?
If your operation requires a strong and light headline, ribline, back strop or sweepline.
By replacing your steel wire with Dynamica FORTUNA you gain:
High durability
Reliability
Lighter and easier handling
Increased safety
Low operation costs
What is the breaking strength and weight of Dynamica FORTUNA?
Dynamica FORTUNA ropes are made with HMPE/Dyneema® making them as strong as steel and up to 10 times lighter. This means handling requires less time and you gain higher productivity.

What is the elongation of Dynamica FORTUNA?
Dynamica FORTUNA has low elongation similar to steel while being a safer alternative.
In case of rupture, Dynamica FORTUNA's low mass and elongation results in the energy being distributed along the rope’s entire length in a linear way with a relatively low recoil. This makes them a safe alternative to steel, as you do not endanger riggers and equipment.
Is Dynamica FORTUNA rotation free?
Yes, Dynamica FORTUNA has a torque-neutral construction which means that “snaking”, bird caging and kinking, which is a common problem with steel wire ropes, is not an issue.
Do & don’t
Do not use the Dynamica FORTUNA over rusty surfaces or sharp edges. This will cause cuts, abrasion and splice damages.
To attain long service life and protect the riggers, ensure all surfaces are in proper condition.
How to cover and protect Dynamica FORTUNA ropes?
Want longer service life? Protect your rope with a cover!
We recommend using a cover (braided or woven) in the eyes, bearing points and, for some operations, on rope’s entire length.
Dynamica FORTUNA is most often paired with braided polyester or Dynamica PRO cover.
We will assist you in choosing the right cover for your Dynamica FORTUNA rope.

What to look for while inspecting Dynamica FORTUNA rope?
Regular inspections ensure a long service life and keep the total cost of ownership down. Inspect Dynamica FORTUNA before every operation looking for the following signs:
Rope construction damage
Cover damage
Abrasion
Inconsistent diameter
