Why choose Dynamica SK99?
If your operation presents challenges with its setup e.g. a need for downsizing the rope diameter to accommodate the structure.
Dynamica SK99 is made with Dyneema® SK99 fibre which is the newest and most innovative fibre. It is the strongest grade of Dyneema® approximately 20 % stronger than the standard fibre Dyneema® SK78.
In cases with challenging setups, the benefits of Dynamica SK99 are that the diameter can be downsized without comprimising on strength and weight reduction.
If you need a rope with lower creep, choose Dynamica SK78.
What is the breaking strength & weight of Dynamica SK99?
Dynamica SK99 ropes are just as strong as steel wire rope while being up to 10 times lighter ensuring you:
Easier rigging
Decrease in handling speed
Less resources required
Fewer riggers and less equipment required

What is the elongation of Dynamica SK99?
Dynamica SK99 is not only strong and light but has low elongation similar to steel wire ropes, making them a safe alternative.
In case of overload and break, the SK99 ropes’ low mass and elongation results in the energy being distributed along the rope’s entire length in a linear fashion with a relatively low recoil. Whereas, steel wire is known for lashing out endangering riggers and equipment.
Is Dynamica SK99 rotation free?
Dynamica SK99 has a torque-neutral construction, which means that “snaking”, bird caging and kinking is not an issue, which is a common problem with steel wire ropes.
Do & don’t
Do not use Dynamica SK99 ropes over rusty surfaces and sharp edges as this can lead to cuts, abrasion rope abuse and splice damages. To attain long service life ensure all surfaces are in proper condition.
How to cover & protect Dynamica SK99?
Want longer service life? Protect your rope with a cover!
With a cover your Dynamica SK99 ropes become even more abrasion resistant. For this rope, we always recommend using a cover (braided or woven) on rope’s entire length.
The choice of cover depends on the specific application, we will assist you in choosing the right cover. Below you can read more about covers that if most often used with SK99 ropes.

What to look for while inspecting Dynamica SK99?
Take special care of your Dynamica SK99 as these are often used under very challenging conditions. They should be inspected frequently in order to ensure safe usage and long service life.
During inspection always look for signs of:
Rope construction damage
Cover damage
Abrasion
Inconsistent diameter.
This inspection will ensure a safe operation and increase the lifespan of your SK99 rope.
